Lydford & Co. - Mentone

Lydford's Co is a fantastic venue for hosting private functions. We recently had a 21st Birthday party in their upstairs function room and were very impressed. The room comfortably accommodated at least 80 guests, and it even had its own bar, courtyard, and toilets so guests didn't have to leave the area. Heath and his team were amazing, providing excellent service both during the event and in the lead up to it. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, and the overall value for money was great. I highly recommend Lydford's Co to anyone in need of a function room.

New bar in Mentone. Great local beer selection on tap and an amazing beer garden. A very well rounded wine list and a great seasonal food and cocktail list. A must see for locals or anyone seeking a great bar.

Best Burgers, Wings, Mac cheese... more ... great Spaces for group gatherings. Amazing selection of drinks. It’s now my go to venue.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday with some friends for a casual drink, just to see what it was like. Overall, it was pretty good. The service was friendly and attentive, and the back courtyard was lovely with the sunshine. We've decided to make a reservation for a table of 8 next Saturday to try out the food and watch a football game there. I have a feeling it's going to be a great experience. I'll provide an update after our visit!

I visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday and was initially impressed by the decor and ambiance. However, my experience was soured by the manager approaching me and my friend. Despite us not wanting to drink that night and simply minding our own business, the manager rudely insulted us and threatened to kick us out if we didn't order a drink immediately. This behavior was unacceptable and I left shortly after, unimpressed.
