Situated on a sandy beach with stunning views of the towns historic building and a backdrop of the impressive French Italian border mountains is enough for a great review. What Hampshirevoyager doesn't like about Plage La Dolce Vita:
This is one of a number of restaurants by the side of the sea on the eastern edge of the town. We were seven in the party and had booked a table. Service was slow and disorganised and it was some time before we got a menu though the place was not busy. One of us got served some twenty minutes before the rest. We had to ask for additional glasses and knives. When it finally arrived the food was reasonable. View all feedback.
We ate lunch there after having paid for the use of their sun beds. Lovely fried anchovies and salad. Staff very polite but not very smiley! Sun beds were great and clean!
We ordered the caesar salad with shrimp and the pasta with seafood. Both were very good. The pasta had a delicious red sauce with squid, mussels, clams, and shrimp. The restaurant sits right on the beach and has a great view.
This was the first lunch of our holiday. La Dolce Vita is a beachside restaurant and the setting, service and quality of our meals left us feeling totally relaxed and happy.
Under new management read only the reviews after August 2019. We visited by a happy accident, on a sailing trip, and bumped into the owners who used to run Zelo’s Beach Club in Beaulieu sur Mer. They have transported the simple and delicious menu, the welcoming attitude, professional service in the restaurant and on the private beach (you can dine on your sun lounger or in the beach bar restaurant). The vibe is also cool and relaxed, the music non intrusive. The beach is sandy and the views lovely. Perfect for families or couples. Stay an hour or all day. Highly recommended, just relax and enjoy it.
Good place and good service. Meal was excellent. Beach directly at restaurant. Long selection of food.
