Feedback
I happen to live in Menton and pass by this restaurant every day. It’s ideally situated on the promenade and,as it was a lovely evening, my partner and I decided to stop and eat at l’Exocet. A place we haven’t frequented in years and I now realise why. The elderly lady who took our order was abrupt, we waited ages for our food although the place wasn’t busy. L’Exocet is supposef to be a seafood restaurant, but the standard of cooking leaves much to be desired. My scallop starter from the menu was a congealed mass of flour based goo covering two dry scallops. My fish main course was greasy, as were the vegetables. My partner’s ‘frito misto » was sloppy and tasteless. Cooking is reminiscent of a 1980’s diner. Our bill came to €76 for one main course, one menu, half a pichet of wine, water and coffee. This place needs a new chef and friendly service. I would not recommend it.
