Great little restaurant in MentonThe service was great very attentive. The seafood we had was fresh and very good flavors. Looking at other tables the pizzas were very well received. There was live entertainment on a Thursday and the owner also sang. Very special. Dessert was out of this world. Thanks for a great evening View all feedback.
What Monique Jean doesn't like about Le Nautic:
On a daytrip to Menton, my friends were craving seafood pasta and we decided that the menu of Le Nautic and the place itself with its nautical inspired interior decor looked inviting despite the absence of other diners (fair enough, it was pretty early for dinner by Mediterranean standards). Eventually they were disappointed by their spaghetti vongole and did not find the price (16 EUR) justified. Myself, I had a veg... View all feedback.

The best seafood restaurant in Menton. I know them for years and they keep high standard all time. Well organized owner, good chef, helpful waiters, relaxing atmosphere and fantastic dishes with wonderfull Bouillabaisse up front. What else?
We headed to Le Nautic more for its convenient location to the seafront than anything else and were rewarded with a delicious seafood lunch. The salade calamars and penne with salmon entrees were delicious. Courteous, helpful wait staff. Lovely relaxing atmosphere at our outside table overlooking Le Bastion.
We returned to this seafood restaurant following a walk through the Fete du Citron garden between the train station and the sea. It a walk from there to Le Nautic (just beyond the Cocteau Museum, facing the fortress at the end of the sea wall). Avoid all the restaurant tables along the sea and go here for the best fish. The special menu for the Fete du Citron (27 euros) was more subtle and tasty than you might think, with lemon and/or orange in each dish. There was an apero, sworfish carpacio, St. Pierre fish course, and (or course) lemon tart for dessert. The tart was not the French lemon tart, but more like a tarte Tropezian - and delicious. Go here anytime, however, for the sea food.

Eventually they were disappointed by their spaghetti vongole and did not find the price (16 EUR) justified. Myself, I had a vegetarian pizza with buffalo mozzarella, which I found quite good, despite being a bit on the soggy side. Waiters were friendly and our food arrived pretty quickly. All in all, it was o.k., but I will try a different restaurant in Menton next time.
