This bar is in a great location on a square close to the beach in the old part of town. We stopped here for a drink as it was the first place that we struck after walking down from the Basilica (which was closed) and before heading off to look at the shops which were along the same street.. Stopped off for a wine & a beer whilst driving through & visiting Menton for the market. Good rose wine & small beer for €5.50 in a bar that's good for people watching. Nice waitress from Aberdeen served us.
Excellent place to sit and relax for a light lunch in a lovely location.My seafood salad was delicious and just right for a light lunch on a hot day.My husband enjoyed his anchovy bruschettas and we had a wonderful ile flottante for dessert.A very pleasant spot to sit outdoors for lunch and good food too.
Visited Menton whilst on holidays in Nice. We decided to have lunch. We ate in this brasserie previously, so we knew what to expect. We had salad nicoise and fermiere. On this occasion both salads were a bit plain even with dressing.
Great spot for afternoon wine, beer or lunch. Very consistent service and good pricing. Marvellous location.
We ate I a few places while in Menton but eventually decided this was the best location and value with tasty foodmussels/oysters fabulous but if you just want a drink no problems at all the staff are all friendly and accommodating 1/4 pichet rose wine 5.4 euroslove the square and people watching thank you for making our holiday
