The view over the lake is breath taking so get their early before sunset to appreciate the beauty. The food was good , well prepared, well presented and with a good range of choices. The wine list was comprehensive and the advice from the sommelier excellent. If possible order a window table to really enjoy the view

We ate here for Christmas dinner. It was the best meal of our trip. My wife still talks about the scallops. I had a duck dish that was simply amazing. If we ever make it back to the lake annecy area, we will be eating at Le Viu.

Staying in the hotel, we booked the restaurant a few months in advance for a Saturday dinner. We had a table by the window, which gave a perfect view of the lake such a wonderful setting. I had the mackerel to start, lamb main and local cheeses for dessert. The starter was ok, but was a little too fanciful in presentation and lacking in taste. Nevertheless, the lamb was excellent, and the local cheeses were delicious. The service was really good and we were well looked after. N.B., the formal dress code. Ive wanted to try this restaurant for a few years and the experience didn't disappoint.

This hotel is not dog freindly your pet is only allowed in your room so all facilities are unavailable to you with your pet and they charge 20 euro for them ro stay in your room digusting

Overall a very good experience. I will not give a 5/5 and I will explain why. In the beginning, after I made a reservation for my birthday to the restaurant, 2 weeks before, they didn't find. Apparently the reception didn't forward my request to the restaurant. Apart from this, a very nice server found as a table, offer us the drinks and made our dinner a nice time. I really appreciated his effort to make us more confortable us in the beginning I was frustrated. Apart from this, the restaurant is spelled as a restaurant gastronomique but for me there must be some more steps to make it gastronomique. The food was excellent, but the servis need to be a little bit better. The restaurant is very nice and the prices are also very good regarding that it can sell the view and raise the prices. The views are amazing.
