Chalet du port - Menthon-Saint-Bernard

We have lunch at the port cottage a noon in the week of August, very simple kitchen, the 23€ for the perch nets are not justified because few fish in the plate and season fade, accompanied by frozen fries and a green salad without interest. I didn't treat myself. note to 75€ for 3...too expensive for a very average lunch.

We arrived on the terrace of this restaurant, we crossed two people who left very angry when talking about the lamentable reception. We waited a quarter of an hour waiting for one of the waitress to address us, but this time never happened. as we started to lose patience, we asked one of her, asking her if she thought we were transparent and we wanted to dine. She answered us, there is no room "it's full" while there was a table available but not unloaded. It's called being received as a dog in a quilles game.

The food was great! the barsch ( perches) a ravine, super seasoned. friendly, something forsches personal. water was free! highly recommended.

Reasonable price with regional dishes, good and hearty. unfriendly servers stressed and pressed by the many covers. more dishes and desserts of the day at the end of service. It's impossible to eat without reservation. pleasant terrace with lake view.
