It was such a struggle to find good quality vegetarian / vegan food in menorca. that can be found in a restaurant with a lot of history and tradition on the island was a very welcome surprise. the first thing to mention is the stunning location sa punta’s terrace giving them a wide view of the harbour, with magnificent views of boats from and out to the sea. those who know menorca know that this type of restaurants traditionally employ exclusively seafood on the island. sa punta explores the other riches of menorca, offers food from the huerto and from the grange-rich and fresh vegetables brought together to offer various plant-based starters - enough to keep them for two meal times in the restaurant. our favorites were an aubergine dress with vegan cheese that they had made in the restaurant, and a mushroom hummus dress with the aromas of a traditional Spanish so frito option beside the starter-tapas, sa punta also had two vegan based main dish vegetable versions of paella and fideua (Spanish noodles). The latter is something we fought to find somewhere else in menorca. the restaurant has a lot of style and will be our go-to option to take friends to dinner in the harbour. at the same time, the fact that it is so affordable that it is not really just the type of space for a one-in-a-summer contract (especially if you want to explore the entire range of the menu). really couldn't recommend it anymore - so happy to have a place like this now on the Menorca-dining scene
No vegan starter or desert so had to improvise for the starter
We had a beautiful dinner at Sa Punta. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated that the vegan vegetarian options were clearly marked on the menu (including a vegan dessert that’s not just sorbet!! Wish we tried it). We ordered the crystal tomato bread and two portions of the fideua, as well as a red and white sangria. Everything was excellent (found food portions to be on the small side considering price). But a very scenic and romantic setting that was well worth it!
Lot of vegan options including the restaurant's own vegan cheese! The options have been really thought through and are exciting and inventive. There are options for starters and mains. The service is great and the location of the restaurant is really cool.
Ideal atmosphere and rich food but a hairy face
