I have lived on the peninsula for 25 years and Mexcal is our go-to spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. When you walk into the restaurant, it feels like you are stepping into your grandmother's home. Regulars are greeted by name and each order is taken with warmth, care, and attention to detail. Be prepared to wait about 20 minutes for your meal, but trust me, it is well worth it for the delicious dishes you will receive. Our favorite item on the menu is the sopes, which come with chicken, pastor, or carne asada. And don't miss out on their fantastic barbacoa on the weekends! There is no place like Mexcal where they prepare food with as much love and care as they do - muchas gracias!

This is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. While there are many choices in the area, some may argue that other places have better burritos or tacos. However, I prefer this restaurant because they not only serve delicious tacos and burritos, but also have a variety of other dishes like chiles rellenos and quesabirria. The consomé is especially well-made. Additionally, the service is fast, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly.

Place is just fantastic. All the meats are amazing. I highly recommend anyone looking for authentic Mexican food to try this out.

The Pastor super burrito was pretty tasty, the whole toothpick inside of it wasn't very pleasant however.
