What Tara L likes about Mama Coco:
The portions were generously-sized, the back terrace comfortable (though the table was a bit small for four hungry and thirsty people), and the service was outstanding--we didn't feel we were on a remote outpost of the business, as sometimes happens. Restroom clean, personnel had a laid-back but professional vibe. Good value! View all feedback. What Kristen C doesn't like about Mama Coco:
I don't do reviews often. I have maybe done 3 in 10 years but always because a rsstiraunt was amazing Not disappointing. This was for sure the worst Mexican food ever. Very bland. Maybe the family is from a different part of Mexico and I'm not familiar with their food. Service was way below average. First Menlo park restaurant that was a huge let down : . If you are a foodie. Stay away! don't waste your time. View all feedback.

While some diners found the Mexican food to be bland and the service subpar, others raved about the generous portions, cozy back terrace, and outstanding service. Fans of the restaurant praised the flavorful dishes, warm and welcoming staff, and diverse menu options. The pork torta and tortilla soup were especially popular choices. Overall, Mama Coco's seems to cater to a variety of tastes, with some customers finding it to be a standout in the area, while others felt it was just an average dining experience.
This restaurant has really mexican flavors, is one of the best in the area for sure, more expensive than just two dollars signs of "yelp", maybe three but
I have come here a couple of times for work events and thought the food was pretty good.
I'm not sure why it's so highly rated hereThe free chips are stale and unevenly salted.
