Los Molcajetes - Menlo Park

Food is always delicious tastes fresh. I was hesitant about ordering molcajete for takeout but it was still so good. We also got birria tacos and loved those as well.

I didn’t even get a chance to try the food, but I’m really frustrated after eagerly wanting to visit this place. The waitress didn’t speak any English, and neither of us spoke Spanish. As a person of color, I’ve never encountered a situation like this before. Even some basic English would have been helpful, but she just continued speaking to me in Spanish while I was trying to place my order, and I had no idea what she was saying. I assume the tacos were unavailable? The menu is primarily in Spanish, and there are no pictures to help navigate it. If you don’t speak Spanish, I honestly don’t know how you’d manage to eat here… We ultimately had to leave because we simply couldn’t place an order.

Everything was fresh and delicious. The horchata was exceptional! They prepare it a bit differently than other places.

Although I’ve been in Redwood City a really long time this is my first time eating and it was amazing

We had to buy water bottles.No Ice. Ordered there mplcajete mixto. Not very tasty, missing onions Nopal were too big. Will Not go back.But loved their corn tortillas!
