Les Saveurs Gourmandes - Ménerbes

Nice food and ambience. Small menu with little choice. We were somewhat irritated to be charged a la carte prices(i.e more expensive) on one meal when my husband had asked for a substitution of a dish from the cheaper menu as a starter and had no dessert.

After a week in provence, this was the first poor meal of our trip. Waited 25 minutes after being seated to order drinks, as there was only one waitress for 12 tables. The filet of porc and dorade were completely over cooked. The porc was difficult to cut and impossible to chew. The dorade was mush. We left over half of it uneaten. When the chef/owner came around he expected a victory march rather than sincere feedback. When I told him of our experience, he just said “d’accord” and went back into the kitchen. Quite rude.

Delish food in lovely restaurant. The gazpacho was amazing as was the tartare du saumon. Chef visited table which was nice.

Nice experience. romantic ambience. food quite good.

Super moment passé au saveurs gourmandes de Menerbes, de la très bonne cuisine élaboré et disposé avec goût, très gros coup de coeur pour ma copine et moi, propriétaire au top, de bonne discussion a la fin !
