Isabel Cafe y Pasteleria - Mendoza

Went there because it look beautiful from outside but I asked for a coffee and a carrot cake and my cake which they recommended it was full of moho !! It was so sad to try it!! They should have fresh pastry and bakery if is what they want to sell

Almorzamos en este lugar, nos resulto muy rico y muy bien atendidos. nos ubicamos en el patio de la entrada que es fresco y agradable. Comimos solamente sanwich pero muy frescos y naturales.

Conocimos el café una tarde de primavera. Nos gusto la atención amable y el ambiente con su decoración. Pedimos una mediatarde completa, servida con dedicación. Volveremos!

Three of us went to Isabel for a late afternoon drink and sweets, "una merienda" as it is called here. The place was quiet so we sat upstairs on the balcony and had a good time. The waitress was efficient and pleasant. Two of us had scones. They come two on a plate with a lemon curd, jam, and a spreadable cream cheese. The scones were fairly large and very tasty and everything was well presented in separate small dishes on a large plate. The other person had the pear crumble. The portion was generous, the dough excellent and tasty. The place is very nicely done and welcoming, overall a good experience. It is just slightly out of the main tourist area only by about 1/2 a block, and it is well worth going the extra distance.

Good quality and good price in this "cheff-made" restaurant. You can have an easy lunch or a nice brunch as well! My fav? the lemonade....
