We tried several Parrilladas while in Mendoza and this one is for sure one the very best and also one of the cheapest. The service was also excellent. I would definitely go back there View all feedback.

This was highly recommended by our hotel concierge, but as the saying goes, "de gustibus non disputandum est." I usually tend to root for the underdog, be it in sports, politics, you name it. So naturally, I went with high hopes to dine at Asador Don Manuel on a peculiar yet competitive night such as is New Year's Eve. Their menu was promising on paper but failed to deliver on the palate. The cold entrées and buffet were scarce and not cold enough: a big 'no no' when melon, prosciutto, and ham have been hanging out for a while. The same for the desserts; they were all unpremeditatedly warm. What salvaged the night were the main dishes: chivito ( grilled goat) on point and a decent pink salmon. Yet nothing to get overtly excited about, though I was really really wishing it would have been.To finalize, it was an extremely warm night (85 deg F) with most of the dining hall reserved. One A/C. We might as well have been roasting right alongside the goat. Our waiter was amicable. Unfortunately, it just didn't suffice.
