As always great, friendly staff. always like to help. went for a 40th birthday meal and although there was a large group of us, we didn't have to wait long. themselves serve on kartoffels and veg was great as they liked as much as they liked and the puddings. would definitely recommend the Malteaser sun places or the chic fudge cake. also big puddings. a fantastic place to visit. would recommend each time. I am now a couple of places here and not complaining about our visits. well done all who work there

French on the trip to the bathroom and castle comb we find this small pub! very friendly staff . nice eating! thank you.

This little gem is a beautiful place and eating is amazing and so fresh and tasty, visit here on the way to home from salisbury to wales and would eat 100% trip here

After a long drive in horrendous weather, we just wanted somewhere warm and welcoming for something comforting to eat before we carried on home. This was perfect, a warm welcome, lovely staff, food served swiftly, it was very tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent Sunday carvery. Attended a 40th Birthday lunch yesterday and although part of a very large party didn't have to wait too long. Would definitely recommend

Our first visit today Friday 10th and it was absolutely brilliant, the staff were extremely friendly 2 lovely young ladies, as soon as Mum I arrived, we got shown to our table , offered drinks and had the menu explained. Order was taken promptly, The food was very well presented and very tasty arrived in good time , the service was as good as any high class restaurant , just right quick, efficient but never once felt rushed, the whole experience was just spot on. Highly recommend if you are passing or local. We will definitely be making it one of our regular stops.

I made a reservation at this restaurant for a party of 19 people. It was a reunion for my former work colleagues and we hadn't seen each other since before Covid-19. The food was amazing, the service was top-notch, and everyone had a wonderful time. We are already planning to come back again soon, and several people have mentioned they want to try the Bell's Sunday roast. If you're looking for a place to host a group meal for family and friends, this is the perfect spot.

We happened across this lovely pub after a day out on a family holiday. The staff were great and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and service was quick.

Friendly welcome and very attentive waiting staff. However if you ask to change anything you will be charged full price instead of the difference. We asked to change from Chunky chips to sweet potato fries on the home made burger and Instead of just charging the 50p extra they cancelled the chips and then charged the full £5 for the sweet potato side. This is not made clear on the menu or at the point of ordering. When i asked about this they just apologised but said that is what they do… The food itself was ok, I wouldn’t rush back anytime soon and I would certainly double check pricing before making any changes to your choice.

We visited The Bell for a Sunday lunch and, boy, are we glad we did! A lovely old pub with very well organised and delightful staff all working together to provide one of the best Sunday Roast Carveries that we have ever had. We will be back.......
