What jeanettek707 doesn't like about Sunrise Chinese Takeaway:
I ordered the prawn dish with spring onions and ginger. When I brought it home, there was not even a single piece of ginger in it. Instead, they tried to cover it up by adding excessive amounts of white onions. It was awful. I felt cheated and will not be returning to that restaurant. View all feedback. service was prompt and courteous and eating was nice! saving ribs were tender and generous and the chips were nicely seasoned. the grilled toast and chicken balls were delicious as the bark chow was mine. early rolls might have had a little more filling, but especially enjoyed the sweet and acid sauce! really enjoyed my meal, will go again View all feedback.

read moreIn a mixed bag of dining experiences, this restaurant seems to captivate some while disappointing others. Several diners rave about the generous portions and quick service, particularly praising dishes like sweet and sour pork and fried rice. However, complaints arise over missing ingredients, fatty meat, and reheated items, leading some patrons to feel cheated. Despite inconsistent quality, a core group of loyal customers appreciates the flavorful Chinese cuisine and decent prices, often returning for takeout. While some vow never to return, others celebrate the establishment as a local gem worth revisiting, especially during lockdown when options are limited.
