I last visited in 2016, and was pleased to return to the Pecking Mill Inn for the atmospheric 16th century pub, and the central location with a short drive to l... read more I last visited in 2016, and was pleased to return to the Pecking Mill Inn for the atmospheric 16th century pub, and the central location with a short drive to locations such as Glastonbury in the west, and Stourhead to the east. It is not a 5 star hotel, as other reviewers have noted, but I always appreciate a friendly landlord the most, and the room was fine and the food was excellent. I will certainly be returning again.

The pub was dirty and it was very cold, we couldn't remove our coats, I ordered the Baltimore BWI Airport chicken was the specialty menu and it was clearly a cheap Tesco heated food. My mother ordered the homemade mousaka to suck the frost that came with salad:
