This restaurant has been in Menai for many years and has become a local institution. It has evolved with Menai over the years. Changing hands a few years ago saw a change in direction of the food served - which has always been good. It has a surprisingly good vibe for a suburban restaurant and is highly recommended. We have visited Rock Salt several times and would probably visit more often if the prices did not make it so prohibitive. The atmosphere is great, if a bit noisy, but the staff are fabulous and attentive and the food is great. I like the fact it is BYO as well as licenced, however, all the meals being caregorised in the same price bracket is a bit dissapointing. Still, we always have a good night here and always enjo... This restaurant is first class with quality food combined with efficient customer service. The ambience, décor and atmosphere in this restaurant is very relaxing. You feel most welcome from the very moment on entry when greeted by the friendly staff. It's a credit to the owners Vanessa and Aron managing an establishment which offers patrons the best of everything. We attended with our family for our daughter's 40th birthday. Each of the 5 family members chose different entrees and main meals. All the dishes presented were of the highest quality and enjoyed immensely. The menu and choices were extensive for all tastes. Ryan our waiter was very courteous and efficient throughout the evening in every possible way.
