Have eaten here before at lunch time so thought we might try for tea time. On arrival we were told a third of the menu wasn’t available which gave us second thoughts about staying. We were told no Sunday roasts no steaks no burgers no hake no mussels no chicken strips which left us disappointed as we were meeting family and had recommended we eat here View all feedback. What MR123 doesn't like about The Anglesey Arms:
Very disappointed. I had previously heard very good reports but we had not been there for a while. The staff were lovely but the service was exceedingly slow to the point that it took about half an hour to be served, after a reminder, the “While You Wait” bread and cod goujons, the latter were huge chunks of cod in batter and more like a main course.
