Unfortunately, it appeared rather worn down and felt uninviting... read more I had previously dined at TJ Mulligans, but this was my first visit to this particular location. Unfortunately, it appeared rather worn down and felt uninviting. The entrance consisted of a single door with no windows, which didn’t help the atmosphere. Additionally, there was a strong odor of cigarette smoke that made the experience less enjoyable for me. Although the food was tasty and the service was excellent, I don't see myself returning to this location in the future.

It was quite crowded, but the service was excellent. I chose to sit at the bar and really enjoyed the atmosphere, which was surprising since it’s not typically a place known for ambiance. It had a relaxed vibe that I found appealing. I’m giving it five stars primarily because of the Reuben sandwich I had—it was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever tasted, and I’m over 55! I highly recommend coming here for that, or even just their corned beef sandwich; you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke like I am, it's definitely best to order takeout. Even just picking it up, my hair smelled terrible! I would have chosen a different place because of the smoke, but options were limited on Thanksgiving. I'm grateful that TJ Mulligans was open.
