L'Herytage - Melun

Service is terrible, food is overpriced like wine. Plates are on the table, between courses, for half of ours. No one checks your drinks or interferes in other ways...

They were here for lunch on a sunny Monday in May. Three course menu choice. Traditional dishes. Good quality. Very friendly staff. Only possible to eat inside, but we had a coup champagne in front and a coffee outside in the small square. Small restaurant with attention to detail in the interiors. We had previously visited Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte and it was definitely worth the extra little trip to Melun to get this lunch on the way to Paris.

Sat out a morning and had coffee and cake. very nice coffees and massive slices of choccy fudge cake. reasonable prices too.

Very good time, as usual. The inventive and diversified kitchen of max treats our taste buds. There's nothing more to say, it's perfect. Thank you.

A very nice interior setting, a much less elegant terrace although very well placed and that allows you to fully enjoy the sun. The setting of the square where the terrace is located is depressing: at least 3 closed shops and which give a dead appearance instead, work that disturbs the tranquility sought for a relaxing break. The wait to be taken care is long, you even have to move to find the staff. the wait for tea was long and it is not suitable for tea lovers. the card is so appealing, but there is no possibility to know since when the infuse tea and nothing to remove and drop the tea so green teas are too bitter. the container is perfectly presented but the content is coming as "infused disease". A reasonable price for a tea, pastry is expensive. Lunch is between 11.90€ and 17€.
