from a walk in them know that it is an independant pub and not a Brawrey chain of it. our family Sunday dinners will never be the same, the cook is amazing. great food, great food, fantastic service and the best beer that I cost in a very long time. children loved it, outside there is much space for them to play. it is a warm and welcoming place. it cannot be enough priase. thanks rose and crown, we will surely come... We used to like coming here, until some friends of ours were charged for tap water as part of their Sunday lunch. The Landlady, by all accounts, was adamant that the water should be paid for. We won’t be visiting again. Shame. View all feedback.

Went for Sunday lunch,wonderful food,very friendly staff.Nothing was to much trouble. Made to feel very welcome. Definitely worth a visit.
Mean servings of a simple straightforward meal. We queried the size of the meal when it was presented to us, especially the chips. Broken little bits which would sit in the palm of my hand. The waitress took our complaint to the kitchen and came back saying this was the correct size portion of chips and the reason for being so small was that scampi was expensive to buy!! May we suggest you increase your prices? Went away hungry….
I went to this pub for a Sunday lunch on Sunday. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this pub for Sunday lunches.
