I had a great lunch at this restaurant. The selection was good, service was excellent, and the staff gave us helpful recommendations on wine choices. We were informed that we were supposed to have a different menu because we were on the spa package, but we enjoyed our meal and didn't inquire about the potential differences. View all feedback.
What KPSomerset doesn't like about The Pavilion:
We were staying at the Hotel, which is truly excellent but the golf club serves expensive, small portions that have the 'discretionary ' 10% service charge added. Arguably fine to do this at a luxury hotel but not in a golf club bar. The food was average but the service excellent and it was also dog friendly. It served a purpose but we would stick to eating in the even more expensive hotel where the food is a bit bet... View all feedback.
Stuck for anywhere better once on the golf course. The food here is very poor but still expensive. The place lacks atmosphere.
Do not bother visiting unless you just need a quick bite while golfing. Anything else, forget about it. This was the only option for lunch on the entire estate, but I would not recommend it for meeting friends for a nice meal. The atmosphere is too basic and the smell of sewers and drains is off-putting. It's disappointing as the place used to be lovely years ago.

The Ceasar salad was excellent. The menu had a wide variety of options including Nasi goreng, fish and chips, and sushi. The waiter was very nice, attentive, and friendly.
