What machinmad doesn't like about The Carington Arms:
Popped in to get a Sunday lunch but were told a large party was just being seated so there'd be a wait. As we didn't have time to wait, we drank our sodas in the garden and agreed to return at another, less busy time. View all feedback.
Visited for Sunday lunch whilst visiting Melton Mowbray. I had turkey and it was excellent, thickly sliced meat and all the trimmings, though there was so much I couldn't eat it all. Vegetables were very nice, including my favourite red cabbage. If we are ever in the area again would definitely go back.
Good friendly service from bar staff. Good Curry selection tasted good, reasonably priced. Good Beer selection. Nice overall atmosphere.

We visited on a long walk and were given a warm welcome into this beautiful pub, and told not to worry about our muddy boots as they were quite used to it, even though there was no evidence of this!
