Old 41 Diner Veedersburg, In - Mellott

Wonderful and friendly service here! I really enjoyed the hand-breaded chicken sandwich. Would definitely come here again if I am in the Veedersburg area!

The atmosphere of this little diner is wonderful as are the staff. The food, however, was only average to a little below average. I ordered the catfish, which was a nice size, but for some reason, it was just kind of soggy and didn’t have a lot of flavor, even though the breading was a nice golden color. We also had mushrooms. They were pretty full of grease and overdone. The slaw was pretty good. It might have been home made. I was actually a little disappointed because many people had told me how good it was. Maybe they were just having an off day.

This place is a hidden gem! My family and I decided to try it out after seeing it a few times, glad we did because the atmosphere is so comfortable, the waitress was sweet and helpful, and the food was delicious! Love that they serve breakfast all day, and the price was reasonable! Go check them out, you won't regret it!

The portions are a little small, but the food is great!
