The restaurant provides excellent and prompt service with a very friendly staff. The menu has a wide range of options to choose from and there is plenty of seating. I would definitely return. View all feedback.

Good: Waiters were very polite. Bad: Meal took 50 minutes to arrive. Instructions had not been followed. Extras we had ordered were not with the meal and instructions about how my meal should be cooked were not followed. I had Whitebait. It was like eating crisps. No trace of Whitebait left, just a sort of fishy tasting set of crisps. I did not like the taste of my chips, it was like they had slightly burnt barbecue... View all feedback.
This was my favourite inn for a morning coffee. But when I called in on Sunday they had increased the cost of latte to £3.45 a jump of 20p on a price that was already way above the average for the area. Such a shame as the staff were always warm, welcoming and efficient.
Brilliant food and drinks. The waitress was exceptional. Funny, polite, and was a massive positive to our evening.
We had a great meal when we stopped for an impromptu dinner. It was fantastic value for money, and the staff were delightful, especially the waitress who had just burned herself on boiling hot water.
Twice cooked chips were not, pale and anaemic. Coly fish is not for me however sustainable it is. I won 't choose it next time, plenty of other choice.
Recommended by the Travel Lodge Melksham. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, friendly chatty staff. Food was amazing and as someone who's just started Slimming World, the food fit in well with the plan. Breakfast choices are superb and again, fit in with the slimming world eating plans the Chef is fantastic! I would highly recommned this fantastic pub to any of my friends.
