Cafe Orca

This was our second visit to Cafe Orca and having been impressed and surprised by the quality and taste of the food and the fabulous service on our first visit, the owner and staff managed to further impress us the second time around. We had the White Bait and Soft Shell Crab for starters. And as per the owner, Ricky's suggestion we had the Seafood Platter for Two. It is by far THE best platter we have ever had. It was done to absolute perfection giving us 5 completely exquisite tastes on one plate. For the first time ever, we had left most of our sides as there was no more space. Ricky's and the waitering staff's personal interactions with patrons simply add to the ambiance created. We absolutely love our little VIP spot and will definitely and without hesitation recommend Cafe Orca to anyone who wants to experience the taste of seafood like never before.

My friend and I made out first visit to Cafe Orca yesterday. Most certainly will not be our last! Our waiter, Henrico, was very professional and told us, clearly, and in detail, what the specials for the day were. We decided on the seafood platter for two ... shoo, it was so delicious ... well cooked and so flavourful. We were so busy devouring all the different items that we forgot to drink our wine! Warning ... it's a lot of food. We barely touched our side salad, vegetables or chips. A minor glitch with the calamari was rectified immediately by the owner in a very courteous manner. We'll be back!

Been a few times and Cafe Orca must he one of the best restaurants in Melkbos. Rene, our waiter, was well informed, friendly and efficient. Our meal comprised of Moroccan line fish (dorado), kingklip with baked emmenthaler, and a kiddies calamari and chips. The seafood was very fresh and served with a mixed veg stack. The food was superb, I'll definitely be back!

I have taken many of my overseas visitors to Orca's over the past 20 years and they all rave about the quality of the food. Many have eaten in 3 Michelin restaurants abroad. The Fish is so fresh that one would think it came straight from the ocean to the table. We've never had a problem with the service either. Perhaps Gareth Nortje should chat with Ricky, the owner, about his experience. Ricky and Jason would be devastated to hear what Gareth has to say. Gareth, there is always a solution. I will not hesitate to recommend Orca to anyone.

My cousin Nonku took me there for lunch. Firstly, the waiter was clued up; from the starter to main to drinks! I don't know anything about seafood, the waiter asked me what kind of food I loved, then suggested what to eat! The food was divine! U know one can get an orgasm just by listening to the waiter explaining the food u are about to eat! Then Ricky was awesome very friendly! Keep up the good work guys!
