Crossroads Cafe & Bar - Melfort

One of my favourite places to eat in Melfort. Get there early in the morning for their shredded hashbrowns - they are amazing! They stop serving them after 9:00am, after which you will have to get the cubed hashbrowns. Meals that come with soup are recommended. Their soup is very tasty. Self serve and sometimes a choice between 2 kinds. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

We just left this place with bellies full for our trip to Regina. We both ordered the mushroom bacon burger, I ordered homestyle fries and my husband ordered the turkey noodle soup. His soup was self serve and when he brought it to the table I was jealous, it looked and smelled amazing. I had a bite and wished I had ordered it too. Our food came quickly and everything was delicious. The burger patties are thick and the buns are home made and really good. The only thing I noted was that there was no cutlery or napkins set out at any of the tables. We had finger food so the cutlery wasn't an issue so we never asked, but napkins would have been useful. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are out this way visiting family.

Came here to enjoy a family breakfast and heard the owner yelling at the bus boy about cleaning tables. Rude Rude Rude! No refills, waiter hardly came over. Never coming back.

Ordered two orders of bacon and eggs. Took over 30 minutes. When it came we had no bacon on our plates. Asked for bacon and they brought three pieces for two breakfasts. When questioned about this the waitress said that is all we get. Will not go back.

I have been onece last week. It was really good place that I realy liked it. Good venue , server is friendly had awesome meal.will go again and I prefer everyone go and try it again there are some changes now.
