It’s great to have a restaurant on Maling Road, as the street is so quiet after 4pm. Thought we’d try this place as it’s relatively new to the area and we weren’t disappointed. The meals we had we very good and they also have beer and wine which is a rare treat for Canterbury. Would recommend this place for a casual meal as it has a very laid back atmosphere. This is a fantastic local restaurant with amazing food. I give it five stars across the board.
Our new favourite restaurant favourite Chinese, not standard Asian fare it’s better than that! We’ve been back 3 times in a month since discovering Yu, excellent service and so many delicious choices, definitely recommend the whitebait entree, calamari, whole fish, chilli prawns, seafood Nadi goreng, tofu wrap can’t wait to go back for more, plus it’s byo licensed! Also great ambience outdoor is lovely under the tree when we take our dogs. Great work guys!

This restaurant is excellent with a fantastic staff! I highly recommend it and we will definitely be returning.
