This cheese shop transforms itself on a Friday and Saturday night into a small restaurant and the food will not disappoint. Catch the number 96 tram towards Brunswick stop 21 or 22 call to book as space is limited. View all feedback.
Two Tall Chefs offers modern Australian cuisine for brunch and dinner with a creative twist. Situated within a cheese shop, the restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but once inside, you are welcomed by a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The food is both delicious and elegantly presented, as seen with dishes like the Sumac crusted egg and Pork belly with potato rosti that we enjoyed. The service was excellent, with a minor issue with my meal promptly addressed and resolved. I look forward to returning to try their dinner menu next time!
This is the best steak sandwich I have ever tried! Whether you dine in or relax in the backyard beer garden, the service is delightful and the coffee is perfect. I highly recommend this place!
I accidentally discovered this hidden gem. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and simply amazing. They had a fantastic wine selection and the food was delicious. The prawn linguini was outstanding and their cheese selection was impressive.
Just moved into the neighbourhood and came here for lunch the other day. The menu looks great, however I opted for their special which was a delicious lentil soup and chargrilled bread. The flavour was spot on and there were delicious bits of chorizo in there that I absolutely loved! They also have a good selection of wine and cheese for sale so naturally I left with some goodies to take home as well. Will definitely be back!
Hands up if you’d have the chef invite your children into the kitchen to help so the grown ups can drink the $6 6th anniversary Prosecco... at 9am? Me neither. <br <br Well the two tall chefs (they are tall) did just that. The rest of the meal was just fantastic really, beautiful eggs and toast all round and the schnitzel was definitely a hit (says the 2 Hungarians I was dining with). <br <br After we polished that off, there was of course, the cheese shop deli. Had a good selection and we bought some to take home; they were happy to let me taste all of them and I was definitely pleased with my choices. I can’t say I would’ve picked American cheese but hey you have to try. <br <br Two thumbs up (from the kids) and bottoms up (from the adults). Will come back on Thursday to Saturday for dinner!
