The Tea Salon - Emporium Melbourne

Went there with my family to try out the scones as they looked good in display windows. Ordered various scones, tea and a coffee. It took forever for the scones to arrive. Apparently they forgot or misplaced our orders. Scones were quite dry i.e. Nothing really special. I ordered mine with herb butter but came with cream instead. Got my herb butter after requesting for it. Could not taste any herb. Coffee was quite bad. No aroma. Tea was ordinary. Did get some discounts for their stuffed ups. No reason to go back again.

This was fun and so reasonably priced.We paid $45 for one stand of goodies the added a second pot of tea and an extra scone. We didnt need to book. We just showed up on a Sunday. Great interior. Very chick!The scones were a little dry but overall loved the experience and was worth it for the price!

Pleasant, cute cafe-pastry shop on the 2nd floor of the Emporium shopping center ... a la dollhouse for girls ... Prices are average for Australia (i.e. high :) ... takeaway - by 20-40% cheaper than "sit" (for example, the famous Australian dessert Pavlova - 9.5/14.5 $)...

What a nice place to go with the girls for a lunch, high tea or just a catch up. The kids lunch was perfect and beautifully served. The sandwiches were so fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A cute interior and tea set like the tea time that appears in Alice in Wonderland. There are many types of tea and many types of scones, so it's a cute shop.
