The Soup Place - Melbourne

$3 sandwiches deal is tempting, but don't expect anything unreal.

If you can make it though the bafflingly tight doorway without bumping into a cauldron of soup, there's some good stuff to be found here.

Always a great little place to have a quick bite and the staff are incredibly friendly. Soups are all delicious!

I had an excellent breakfast at this restaurant. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the service. I would have liked to return, but I ran out of time.

I arrived at a restaurant that appeared to be impressive. I was promptly seated and ordered drinks and food. Unfortunately, my food arrived almost 15 minutes later than my friends' because the chef had forgotten to cook it. By the time my meal arrived, my group had nearly finished eating. The burger I received was average at best. When I tried to complain to the manager, I was informed he was at the bank. He was aware of the subpar service as he had discussed whether a discount should be offered with the hostess. No discount or apology was given. I would not recommend this place.
