What User doesn't like about The Park Hotel Restaurant:
New to the area and happened to pass this pub so I looked online where the reviews were good. Thought let's give it a try. We ordered fish cakes and the burger. The burger came out quite rare which my partner doesn't like. We brought it back and asked for it to be cooked further. The lady at the counter was lovely about it however, the burger came out presented in the same fashion it was sent back. The chips were als... View all feedback.
Had Wagu Rump and Parma. Perfectly cooked with beautiful fresh vegetables, great served and inexpensive. Warm and friendly staff, although they were very busy. Great service around a real fun pub.
Recently arrived from the United Kingdom we wanted to go somewhere near our accommodation for a meal. I think you were pushed hard to find a better local pub in the area. Lived, but not too busy, Aussie Rules football on TV and a really good pint of Balter IPA put the scene. Food options include some great veggie choices and share dishes as well as some really good burgers. I went for cauliflower and chickpea salad with halloumi and mint. It was excellent: crispy, fresh and tasty. The fries I picked up from various family members were also great. The sections were considerable but not overwhelming and the service friendly and welcoming. The Park Hotel is quite everything you want in a local food pub and I hope we come back here before we leave Melbourne. Very recommended.
Dined on Thursday evening, really friendly staff, fast efficient service and a good selection of meals. Good choice of local boutique beers that are on a hot day delish. Definitely worth a visit.
We celebrated my wife's birthday with a relaxed lunch on Saturday afternoon at the Park Hotel. A warm welcome, a wide selection of artisanal beers and wine on the glass, together with an interesting menu make this a great local culinary destination. Large traditional chicken parma sealed a beautiful afternoon. Very recommended.
We have been going to the Park for many years and we have always thought it was acceptable. The current owners who have been there for a relatively short time provide an adventurous menu with some lovely dishes. Our most recent dinner was pork belly and a salmon fillet dish. Both sensational. We drank an Amherst cab sav., also excellent. Staff are welcoming and efficient. We will continue to visit.
