The Imperial - Melbourne

A few friends and I went there for a quick bite to eat and some drinks on a Saturday afternoon. The venue is quite big and split into three levels each with slightly different themes. We visited the bottom floor and had pulled pork sliders (YUM), some dips with Turkish bread and hot wings, this was complimented by some wine. The venue downstairs is warm with an old time feel. The staff are quick and efficient without any fuss. This place is great for a quick affordable bite prior to a big night in town.

Visited recently on a busy saturday night without a booking with 5 children and 2 adults and we were really looked after. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Very noisy but it is a pub so just be prepared for a bit of swearing from the bar area if the football is on. Overall a great spot , really enjoyed the atmosphere and cant wait to come back again.

We were on the roof top, nice view from there. Cozy furniture and really friendly staff. And if it is too hot or cold, you can just move inside :)

Caught up with friends who recommended this on a Friday night.Extremely noisy atmosphere but to be expected given it's a city pub catering to an office crowd at the beginning of a weekend.The rooftop bar is a definite must either before or after the meal with good views of the city and Parliament House opposite.The food and pricing were both excellent. A decent wine range in support.Went with a traditional chicken parmigiana and was presented with the largest (and one of the tastiest) I have ever received (with cut chips and a small salad accompaniment). Struggled to finish it and only fortunate I didn't add an entree. Definitely no room for dessert.Definitely recommend if you're a lover of the pub environment. Just we aware it is not for intimate dining. Take the chicken parmigiana challenge!

Came here for lunch and then to watch footy is a very busy pub, good range of beers and wine but crowded. Food was reasonable, staff were always friendly even though very busy.
