The Crux & Co - Melbourne

I'm devastated that I can't rate this place more than 5 stars I had Breakfast and the Crux and Co this morning and honestly , to summarize it in one word . . . WOW! It's not just sitting down to eat a meal it's an entire experience of all senses. I was tossing up between the porridge and the Banana and Date Cake , I decided to order the cake and I was taken by pleasant surprise. It wasn't just any regular breakfast cake it had generous lashings of coffee caramel Mousse , rich Caramel sauce , chocolate soil and the most delicious peanut crackle. Good coffee , amazing Chai and fantastic service. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you Crux and Co , you made my Thursday that little bit more special Will be returning!

Food: The Ahi Poke Bowl with fresh raw tuna was fantastic, a healthy choice. The Smoked Duck salad with black sesame sauce was intriguing, a delicious combination. The Matcha pancake was not only tasty but also visually stunning. Coffee: Exceptional, one of the best mochas in Melbourne. Patisserie: Skilled. Atmosphere: Outstanding, with helpful and pleasant staff. We definitely plan on returning to try something new. Cheers.

Really enjoyed our breakfast. The food is creative and tasty. I didn't get to sample the cakes, sadly, but they looked amazing!

I picked up two small tarts at Southbank today - one chocolate and one lemon - and they were absolutely delicious! The pastry was beautifully made, the fillings were perfect (I especially loved the surprise caramel layer in the chocolate one), and they looked stunning. Great job, guys!
