Was Aloo at Supernormal a mag?
I've been here a few times. Always amazing food and they make it easy when dining with others as well. Last time we selected shared dishes and they were more than happy to accommodate for me (the only vegan at the table) while satisfying all the other diners with me. Noisy restaurant as the previous reviewer mentioned, I felt it was a bit much to be comfortable. Great service, good quality food and intricate flavors. View all feedback.

I think for the hype of this place we were really looking forward to this. It was a weeknight birthday banquet meal. Our main waitress was lovely and very knowledgeable however we had a different person bringing out each course and explaining it to us. We just felt a bit rushed. The lobster burgers were about the only great wow dish. Everything else was cold. The main which we chose was flounder cooked in butter and... View all feedback.
A great place to go for a fun dining experience. Sitting up at the bar was great. Fun, interactive staff made the night. We had the banquet which was delicious. A great selection of food came out in a nice order. Highlights include the lobster rolls, buttery brioche surrounding beautifully cooked lobster. The cumin lamb with the buns, which we dubbed "fluffy pillows of happiness!" So light and fluffy!Definitely recommend the yuzushu as a drink. A fabulous dining experience.
I recently visited supernormal twice...First. I went with my partner . We didnt book , it was about 1430 sunday afternoon.A mistake on my behalf, i thought we would just wander in.. This restaurant seems to be always full . It is that popular , which is a good sign !! Ok ,so we were welcomed and had a seat , whilst waiting for a spot to eat. We were offered drink whilst waiting. The service here is so professional , really friendly and approachable . Its hard to achieve this balance. They do this effortlessly here. We were seated at the bar , which is fun. And then proceeded to be treated with a selection of gastonomic delights , a raw tuna dish so tasty .. The infamous lobster rollAnd on and on.. We ordered way too much. I loved this restaurant so much I took my two girlfriends, one from Adelaide (, i was showing off ) This time ... I booked we had a table. We ordered less , so we were able to get desert this time .. This was a highlight!! I recommend book , order small amounts, you can always order more .. I think the small dishes are the best.. There is also a feed me menu, which i didnt try.. I think i will next time..All i cam say is just go , and go back again and againI amLove it love it..Thankyou supernormal for the most wonderful service and food

The lobster burgers were about the only great wow dish. Everything else was cold. The main which we chose was flounder cooked in butter and was definitely one of the strangest meals I've had. It just didn't work and was so buttery it overpowered the other flavours. The desert was also very good. I guess with so many people working there they also forgot to bring out our own birthday cake that we gave them on arrival.
I would go there just for vegan rice cakes as they are yummy very hard to find. Good service. They know what they can make vegan but they should have vegan labelling. Food a bit small and pricey for me. Nothing my 2 year old could eat.
