Delicious pizzas! Reliable take away service order was ready at the time originally stated. Highly recommend the mushroom pizza. Cosy little cafe if you wish to eat in. View all feedback.
I have not eaten at this restaurant before, but I have ordered delivery a couple of times. I appreciate that they offer a wide variety of vegetarian options and their pasta dishes are very fresh. I also like that they have promotions that make the prices reasonable. I would definitely recommend trying their delicious pastas and pizzas.
The toppings are decent, but the pizza base tends to get soggy when delivered or taken home. The prices are quite high for a pizza, and the service is lacking. I requested no garlic or onions but received them anyway without any apology or compensation. I may return, but it's not a place I will enthusiastically choose.
I have been coming to Stella Deluxe since they first opened. I am always personally greeted by the owner or their friendly staff, and the food is exceptional every time. Keep up the good work, guys!
We were lucky enough to dine as guests of Stella Deluxe on Thursday and deluxe doesn’t even come close to conveying how special their dessert pizzas were. Doing mostly takeaway via ubereats or their own app there is limited seating inside but what little space they do have has a lovely ambiance. Owner and chef Raoul has previously owned several successful Italian restaurants and definitely knows his way around a pizza. His vision is to change the perception of pizza being super unhealthy. Their pizzas have very light bases and are topped with good quality ingredients making them more of an artisan or gourmet style offering. We shared the Margherita and cumin lamb between the two of us. I loved the Margherita for its perfectly sweet tomato sugo. It was a brilliant base that really highlighted the richness of the tomatoes. The lamb pizza was very tasty too. I generally hate onions but the caramelised onions gave it a beautifully sweetness that paired wonderfully with the lamb and yoghurt. I particularly enjoyed the fresh parsley on there that further enhanced the flavours. When I tasted the cumin I adored it but it wasn’t as prominent as I would have liked across the entire pizza. I’ve never seen a cumin lamb pizza on a menu before and it’s a great concept but I think it would be even more amazing if that cumin was more pronounced. The desserts however really stole the show here. They far exceeded my expectations and idea of what a dessert pizza could be. They had was a more of a tart style base which had a French influence and the offerings were very different to the standard dessert pizza combos you see which pretty much solely consist of Nutella and some kind of fruit. We chose the sticky date and caramel and a cinnamon poached pear. Both had a stunning custard throughout which was utterly decadent and it was at this point I wished I had a bigger stomach because they had so many sensational sounding options (zomato menu not up to date, check their website) I basically just wanted to eat everything. I had to concede that four pizzas between two was a pretty stellar effort but if I lived on bay st I’d seriously be eating one of those bad boys after dinner every single night
Quick service, friendly and accommodating staff, delicious food! Got the smashed pizza, pasta special with peas and prosciutto, and brownie this place is reasonably priced and even does delivery. Recommend!
