Today is my second day in a row for lunch in Spicy Fish in Chinatown. The lunch sets are so much value from just $9.80 and the quality of the ingredients very good. The fish and seafood we had today are very fresh. Could still taste the natural aromas of seafood through all these chili and spices. If you are looking for extremely tasty and reasonably priced Asian food this is the place to go. Me and my work colleagues have been going to Spicy Fish for years now and are never disappointed. This restaurant in Chinatown is our family's favorite for Chinese food. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly, which is rare for restaurants in the area. The food is consistently delicious and of high quality.
I recommend for two people only order one dish as the food portions are humongous! Staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. Given the portion size and tasty food , a definite worth it experience .
Right in the heart of the cbd this classic chinese restaurant has a delicious menu of cheap lunch special sets that will fill you right up! pictured is the black bean ribs $8.80) and eggplant with pork mince $10). both came with a bowl of steamed white rice and a little plate of salted peanuts. really filling and for the price, a delicious choice for lunch. the specials start at 11:30am!
We’ve been here several times! The food is always great! Today we ordered the xiaolongbao, greens beans with pork mince, shallot pancakes and wontons in chilli sauce! We had the order delivered by Deliveroo!the food arrived fresh, hot and as tasty as if we dined in! Just a great restaurant whether you dine in or get take out. Highly recommend this place!
Had dinner here with family, Ordered the spring onion pancake, deep fried chicken with dried chilli, beancurd with minced pork in chilli sauce, chinese brocolli with garlic, double cooked sliced pork with chilli, fried string bean with minced pork, all were yummy, really nothing to fault. Service was good and surprisingly friendly and quite attentive, im sayin this coz mostly chinese (china) restaurant, their service are very basic and as long as they get u what u want, they dont have to put more effort, such ad smiling and being nice and friendly, so im giving this restaurant an extra point for that as well. Definitely will go back and try the rest that they got to offer.
