Contribute FeedbackSouth Society is an iconic cafe located at Pinewood Shopping Center that offers a very nice coffee and a good cake selection. The Melbournian avocado toast is described as the best ever had, with amazing balsamic sauce, despite the food taking a while to be served. The cafe has a spacious, rustic Italian and classic look, perfect for an evening cocktail or coffee chit chat. The food is creative, tasty, and high quality, with highlights such as the lamb shank and the Hotcake soaked in syrup. The service is friendly and attentive, and the menu offers delicious options like the Middle Eastern Benedict and the parma. Overall, South Society is a hidden gem in Pinewood Shopping Center, offering good coffee, seasonal produce, and a delightful dining experience.
This cosy hangout is a fancy little brunch spot and the menu prices and food presentation reflect the “fancier” ethos I think they’re going for.<br/ <br/ This is a beautiful albeit expensive brunch experience, however it caters to healthier lifestyles as well with their smoothie menu. <br/ <br/ Breakfast is delicious and food quality is top notch. Full of flavour, presented perfectly and we all know you eat with your eyes first! You have plenty of seating options, with the ability to dine inside or outside. <br/ <br/ This is my local given its right around the corner so a firm favourite when you want a lovely breakfast/brunch splurge.
Came today as a Tuesday but the place was packed. Food was generally good. Coffee is flavourful. service is decent. there awe plenty parking outside with long hour and that is a plus.
DELICIOUS HOTCAKE right now <br/ This soft fluffy flavour packed Hotcake was soaked in syrup, topped with fresh fruits puffs freeze dried raspberries and lastly that pistachio ice cream was next level good!<br/ <br/ Middle Eastern Benedict w. Pulled Pork Jalapeño Hollandaise Pomegranate Coriander Lime on Turkish Bread 2 Poached Eggs <br/ @southsocietycafe<br/ <br/ This delicious Benedict definitely didn't disappoint! Highlights were the pomegranate which gave it a nice textural punch to the dish which was required due to the richness of the yolk<br/ <br/ The freshness from the coriander gave it much relief, which was a great accompaniment <br/ Super delicious! And highly recommend this dish! And super friendly service all day!
I recently tried the avocado toast at The Melbournian and it was the best I've ever had. The balsamic sauce was incredible! The only downside I would mention is that the food took quite a while to be served.
The food at this restaurant was excellent. I visited on Valentine's Day with some friends and we were all pleased with the quality of the food and the service. The dishes were creative and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the lamb shank, which was tender and flavorful. The staff made sure to keep our glasses filled with water and wine throughout the meal. We ended the night on a high note with some tasty coffee.
