I have visited this restaurant several times and I must say I am very impressed. Despite being tucked away in a small location, the food is delicious, the premises are clean, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend the spicy pork rice meal - it is very filling and only costs $12! View all feedback.
What Leonora C doesn't like about Sool Tong:
We were planning to go to Good Ovening but it was closed and saw that this is open nearby, so, thought we would give it a try. Sashimi: 4/5 Sashimi is nice but oddly cooked prawns were added to the dish. Grilled Sole: 3/5 It's not grilled. It's deep fried. It's well fried but my mom said there is no garnish as it's just a whole fish deep fried and they also filleted out one side, presumably to use it for other dish a... View all feedback.
BEST BROWN RICE! teriyaki chicken and curry are absolutely delicious and so affordable. one of the best hidden gems in melbourne, you haveee to upgrade to their speciality brown rice that is full of beancurd, perfectly cooked cubes of carrot and three different whole grains. delicious!
Since discovering this little eatery, I’ve become a regular customer. The sushi hand rolls are my favourite ingredients are fresh, with good quality nori, and overall makes a great tasting sushi. I tend to get them takeaway as the restaurant is so close to my workplace.
I enjoyed the Tteokbokki with added ramen, which was surprisingly generous in portion size. I liked that they included fish cakes along with rice cakes prepared two ways. The dish also had fried gyozas on top, which was a nice touch. We also tried the bibimbap with beef, and it was delicious. I appreciated the authenticity of the dish being served in hot stone bowls rather than plain bowls. The unboiled egg yolk that came with it was a great addition when mixed with the rice. One thing to note is that the space inside the restaurant is quite small, but they may have an upstairs area available. It is recommended to book a table in advance.

Sool is easily overlooked as you walk by, but this small restaurant is perfect for a intimate gathering with friends after work.
