At 7:30 a.m., no one seated us at our table, and we had to wait 10 minutes to order. The menu options were quite average, and one item we ordered never made it to our table. This place feels more like a bar that should only serve snacks rather than a full restaurant. View all feedback.
This is the best place!! So glad we found it while holidaying in Melboune last week. The service from Sam, Ulious and the other lovely man with the beard was just excellent. They looked after our large group so well and were very efficient and really friendly. We went for 'Happy Hour ' and stayed for hours because of the great service. We also went for breakfast and the food was just delicious. Have not had great service like this for a LONG time. This will definitely be our first port of call when we go back to Melbourne. Thank you so much Slate. :D
Came here for happy our with some girlfriends and a toddler! Staff made us very welcome! Bought some toys! A high chair! Colouring in book! Soo lovely!!! Would recommend!!
We have just started having our Friday work drinks at Slate and we have never been looked after so well. Management and staff are second to none. You guys are incredible... thank you! See you again soon!
This place has exceptional service, great ambience, friendly and ptofessional staff and we will definitely be going back on our next trip
Had a quick breakfast here before leaving to fly back home. Fantastic food, coffee and service. Living up to Melbourne's reputation as foodie heaven.
