Shinssi Hwaro Korean BBQ Restaurant

Went with friends and enjoyed the cuisine and korean beer. Great for dinner. I am maybe used to eating slowly and cooking it myself so found it annoying when the waiters and waitresses kept coming and trying to dump all the meat on the bbq...at once, even after they had been told to not come. I guess it may be the norm in Korea.

Party of came in and got asked to leave because they wanted more people. Could only really rate the service, obviously being quite poor. Dodgy.

A group of friends and i went to the Little Lonsdale street restaurant for this Korean BBQ. it had been recommended to us as the offered a all you can eat menu as well as a drinks package too for the i was very disappointed with this restaurant, the food itself was okay, but the service was really bad, we kept on getting ignored when we were asking for more food, and when the wait staff did acknowledge us, they took minutes to bring us the raw meat that we were going to cook ourselves, we were right next to the kitchen so why it took so long actually bemused me. the minutes drink package was poor too, if you are going to offer beer in that package, you need to make sure you actually have enough beer to satisfy your customers. all in all i felt very unwelcome to be in the restaurant and, being of european descent, i didnt enjoy being asked how we found this place by a staff member while they had a look of disgust on their face. if you want good Korean BBQ go to Dae Jang Geum on Little Bourke street. they do not offer an all you can eat but i have been there dozens of times and have never been disappointed.

My colleague and I tried the Korean BBQ place at little lonsdale for lunch. Generous serving, tasty food and friendly staff. Reasonable price. We surely go back with the rest of the team.
