One of my favourites now going back some 35 years. Food quality is great and though very busy the service is good. A great selection of dumplings and other chef specialities. View all feedback.
What Anita Berthelsen doesn't like about Shark Fin Inn:
This is not the best yum cha in town but it is value for money. Its a busy restaurant and the wait staff are excellent. The food is 'competent' - some dishes stood out but essentially its good vale for money yum cha. Not delicate or refined but a good way to feed the family on a sunday. View all feedback.

This is old fashioned, good quality, reliable Australian Chinese food and service. Solid, dependable, high quality and well priced. Some of the food is outstanding. We had a Singapore noodle to write home to Singapore about. This is a stalwart of Little Bourke St.
Our taxi driver recommended the Shark Fin Inn to us when he dropped us at our hotel, which was just across the road. We arrived early but without booking. The staff quickly seated us and provided a pot of fragrant jasmine tea while we perused the menu. The menu was extensive with all the old favourites and more. Servings were huge and great for sharing! Prices reasonable. My Mongolian Lamb was tender, tasty and sizzling on the plate!
First time trial on a Saturday night. The restaurant was very busy and we have to wait a bit even we have booked. The waiting area is very very small with no seat and some people have to wait outside the restaurant. Everything were good and yummy especially the Lobster Noodle. The Lobster is very fresh and meaty. Expensive but value for money!
Very busy restaurant, not much food brought around on trolleys, food just normal service also good......
