they deserve 5 stars for the name of the pizzas on menu alone. but they are so much more than amusing names. the pizzas are absolutely delicious. check out the yummy calzones as well. View all feedback.
What lsbisa doesn't like about Queen Margaret of Savoy:
The gluten free base here is a little biscuit like. We have had better elsewhere where you cant tell the difference. The croquet were quite bland, maybe needed a stronger, sharper cheese. Overall ok, but not great. View all feedback.
Have a casual dinner with friends. had luck getting a booking and that the restaurant had enough space for the current Kovid restrictions. We ordered a vegetarian, garlic and Italian and pancetta pizza. my favorite was the vegetarian, because the garlic was a bit too wide and the pancetta and spicy pizza was a bit salty. / total I enjoyed the meal times and everything was appropriate. I would say that I was a bit surprised that they did not serve any water (free) and instead we had to pay for bottle water, which could be a result of the current situation.
It is a beautiful place, very well furnished for children. we stood up and the children were given activities (colors) to keep them occupied and they could also win a prize. children also have free dessert before 7. service was excellent. they have a good selection of craft beers./ the pizza dough was good, crispy through, but perhaps the crust could have been a little cheerful. the toppings were very fantastic, I liked the special. However, they use a gas stove so that it does not really have that smokey taste that I prefer it is a bit of a personal preference. a place to go with the children, but for the pizza I will keep the judgment until I have tried the margherita (of which they have 3 sorts).
My wife and I regularly take the grandchildren for dinner. QM is ideal. The service is always qick and polite; the salads are crisp and the choice and quality of pizza is excellent. They also serve gluten free pizza bases on request which are truly delicious.
Had dinner on a cold Friday night. We ordered pizzas and both really enjoyed them. The crust was perfect light and crisp. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
