Had a wonderful time yesterday at our hens lunch. The staff were so accommodating to a lot of last minute changes we had to make. Food was wonderful and they went out of their way to accommodate a dietary issue. Special mention has to be made for Daniel who was so kind and welcoming. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We successfully celebrated our daughter's 30th birthday at Platform 28. The private celebration was held on the first level terrace, and from start to finish was a breath of fresh air with attentive staff, great, plentiful and delicious finger food and drinks. On arrival Daniel met us with a smile and a genuine nature that won our hearts. We then knew we could relax, as he and his team would take great care of us and our guests. We can't speak any higher in praise of the way the venue and staff took care of us. We'll done Daniel!!! Highly recommend their functions offering. Many thanks. Robert Elizabeth. I stopped by for breakfast on a Monday morning and was warmly welcomed by a friendly waitress. I ordered the smoked salmon scrambled eggs with spinach, and it was both delicious and a great value.
Fun venue for Friday night after work drinks with surprisingly delicious finger food. Very close to southern cross station which is handy, staff are always friendly. They sometimes make you collect your food from down stairs and carry it up the stairs which is pretty crazy but I really love the atmosphere and all the food I've had so far has been fantastic
Consistently good food and friendly service, this time lunch for 3. We had salmon, pumpkin salad and fish and chips. The large football screens are great for game days and there's always a social crowd.
This is a fantastic spot for lunch that truly makes an impression, whether you’re with family, catching up with close friends, or meeting business contacts. The food and service are exceptional, and the ambiance exudes a high-class vibe. It's easy to understand why getting a table here can be a challenge!
It's a versatile place. You get the usual pub kinda crowd and a small restaurant area where you can sit and eat in peace. They have glass enclosing which I feel was pretty cool. We ordered a few share plates. Except for the teriyaki skewers which was a bit too fishy for my friend, the chips and the brie melt was to die for. The sri Racha mayo was really delicious. It was a good experience overall. I would return someday.

The staff was attentive and the food was outstanding. This place is a gem for anyone who hasn't visited before!
THE STAFF WERE SUPER WELCOMING AND THE SERVICE WAS REALLY GOOD, BEEN HERE HEAPS OF TIMES AND NEVER DISAPPOINTED, HOWEVER TODAY THE RISOTTO UNFORTUNATELY WAS REALLY OVER COOKED AND LIKE MASH AND A LITTLE TASTELESS.
Great to be able to dine at Platform 28 Again. Burgers were very very tasty. Service was very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed having a few beers afterwards and stayed much later than we intended. Really good.

The food is fantastic and the beer is nice and cold. The restaurant offers table service, which is a big plus. I would definitely come back without a second thought!

Intended only to have a few beers then leave. Saw the menu and became interested. Wednesday is the experimental burger night. Need to go on FB to find out what the burger is for the night. Ordered it but unfortunately all sold out, replaced with...the Angus burger. No regrets there. I had the scotch fillet cooked perfectly and set off superbly with the horseradish sauce. A side of beef chilli fries and meal was complete. Nice blues and jazz music playing in background.
Grated around the start of the foot over the street to eat and they were more than gracious and accommodated us for a meal. we were the only mozen left as soon as the game started and the service was great. we had the burger and. the fish and the chips and it was lovely. the serviettes were generous and the hostes were amazing! we had a fantastic time and loved the inner-outside ambience that expressed itself over the bankrupt and surrounding areas!
