My family of 3 adults and 2 kids decided to try our luck at Pizzingrillo and were pleasantly surprised when they were able to accommodate us. We were very happy with our experience! The restaurant is cozy and intimate, the food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients, and the wine selection is great. We couldn't find a single fault with our meal, especially the tasty pizzas. This is a fantastic spot for locals a... View all feedback.
This restaurant is the perfect spot for a delicious meal! It's a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine. I recently relocated from Sydney to Port Melbourne and decided to stop by for a meal.
Why would you open a massive Domino's in the neighbourhood when quality, traditional wood fired pizza like the ones here are available a few doors down? I
Poor serviceWaitress spoke poor English and couldn't clearly explain the issue with one of three meals brought to the table.
I loved the seafood. It was amazing. Especially the marinara styled dishes. Hard to balance flavour with substance but this place has done it!! Especially impressed with the muscles and prawns. Succulent flavour and great texture. Staff very attentive to detail and it was a pleasant atmosphere to dine in. Excellent seafood. Cant go wrong and therefore will be returning.
We have eaten here several times before and the taste of the food has always been good but recently we have had an experience that lets the restaurant down.I ordered gnocchi with prawns, scallops and calamari. Only 1 prawn and no scallops were served! My wife ordered the lobster and prawns linguini. She was served a very thin slice of lobster tail and when the meat was scrapped out it would have barely covered a tea spoon. There were only 2 prawns. We complained and the Chef said that there were scallops in my dish and that I had mistaken them for pieces of gnocchi! And only 1 prawn was because of the cost of them. The same excuse was used for my wife's lack of ingredients - costs. If it is so expensive take it off the menu or put your prices up to match.I would like to eat what is detailed and what I have ordered not what the Chef wants to give me.
