Persillade - Feedback

Was Sophia Green at Persillade a mag?
Staying at a nearby hotel, this bright and airy cafe provided the ideal and cheaper option for breakfast over 3 days. The coffee was made and served with care. The sourdough toast and home-made conserves were a delight. The staff were friendly and efficient, making it possible to read a newspaper in peaceful harmony. View all feedback.
What Josefa Carballo dislikes about Persillade:
Went here last week before we picked up my husband from one of the nearby hospitals. My daughter had the cheeseburger and these supposedly fabulous chips. Well the chips may be triple fried but that would be once each day for three days. They were grey maybe they were the wrong type of potato! Apparently the aioli was very good though. Cheeseburger average and my fritters of some sort, I can't remember corn or someth... View all feedback.

This lively place is great on a cold Melbourne day! The coffee was nice and had great aroma, the milk was textured just right. The eggs were cooked well and service was professional and friendly.
What a fabulous lunch , I took my mum for her birthday, we were greeted with a beautiful smile, attended too straight away, had such a delicious wine suggested, and my mum had to compliment the chef, she had not had a better home made black pudding ( made on premises) too I may add, in 55 years since being back in England. Our meal was perfect. Service amazing, and thank you for making my 75 yr old mum feel so special with a candle lit on her dessert and your staff singing happy birthday. We can't wait to come back. Big rave in my books.. So good! Well done.
I stay just down the road semi regularly and a top notch morning coffee (or two) in a lovely ceramic cup and great breakfasts are now the highlight of my business trips to Melbs. Feels like being at home.
Went to a Friday night football game at the MCG ,parked our car in Yarra Park ,walked up to Wellington parade at 6 oclock and discovered Persillade . They had a footy Menu ,very smart Included soups and homemade pies all around a $20.00 cost . We had a ham and chicken and a schnapper and fennel pie both served with mash potaoes and peas they were delicious! The coffee was excellent my friend and I both had a glass of wine , not a big selection and a bit pricey . Good service nice atmosphere very convenient would go back
What a great find so close to the MCG. My friends and I reserved our seats at the MCG and walked up to Wellington Street, East Melbourne for lunch before the game. In celebration of Bastille Day I had the French onion soup. Traditional and served by a lovely French waitress. My colleagues had a burger and a wrap. A good choice. The coffee was excellent. An expensive coffee machine and a good barista! I am looking forward to a return visit.
A restaurant located near the MCG and hospitals in Melbourne received mixed reviews. Some customers were disappointed with the food quality, with overcooked dishes and underwhelming flavors. However, others found it to be a hidden gem, especially for breakfast, with delicious homemade preserves and friendly service. The coffee was praised for its aroma and quality, and the atmosphere was described as lively and welcoming. Overall, while some may not return, many others are looking forward to another visit to this charming establishment.
