Ora - Melbourne

Fabulous service, wonderful food.....hush puppies best I have ever had and I am from Virginia where they were invented! Nice that they have kombucha along with some excellent wines......would be great if they could add some fish to their mains......not just the usual salmon- but everything was yummy.

Food was very nice, overall an enjoyable dinner out.

After being seated we had almost made the decision to get up and go elsewhere rather than order. In the middle of lunchtime the venue was almost empty and the waitress advised us that 2 of the menu dishes were not available. Warning bells were ringing. But we stayed and we were so glad we did. Meals and coffee's were spot on and we enjoyed one of the most perfect lunches we have had this year.

Ora is one of two small cafes in the up and coming Willsmere Village in Kew. Our first visit went well. Three of us had lunch and we were all pleased with the results. My burger made with ribs and served with wedges was excellent. My wife ordered a dish with mushrooms, ricotta and kale and like the dish. Our cousin ordered a muesli and pronounced it 'very good', Coffee here is excellent. The cafe is a modest sort of a venue but there are some tables outside fow when the weather is good and the service (by two young servers) was efficient and friendly.

I am a coffee aficionado and Ora fits my stringent requirements to a T. The best coffee in the town, friendly staff and great ambience. The food is excellent too!
