Om Vegetarian - Melbourne

Many people are overly critical given that the meal costs just $7.50 (and slightly more through DoorDash) and includes three curries, two naan, and rice. That's incredibly generous! Naan at other places can cost $4-5 each, yet some still give it a one-star rating, which is quite amusing. As a woman of average size, I can usually get two meals out of this, provided I’m not too hungry. Yes, the food is simple and more home-style (think Lentil as Anything), but it’s nutritious and has consistently been good. If you’re looking for traditional restaurant-style Indian cuisine, you should go elsewhere—this is not the place for that. However, if you’re after hearty, straightforward bean curries with plenty of bread at an unbeatable price, OM is the spot to visit.

For the price, the portions are generous and the food is truly authentic. The paneer is delicious; I will definitely order it again.

Simple and satisfying meal. Sometimes life doesn't have to be complicated. I always enjoy my time at OM.

The Chole and Soyabean gravy felt really bad... Only saving grace was the dal...

I visited Om Vegetarian on Spencer Street, and I had a great experience. The staff was friendly, and the food quality was excellent, all at affordable prices. I highly recommend it!
