We found this place - a quick walk from our hotel. Vegan friendly - soy chicken Marsala Yum! We had the $6.50 all you can eat which consist of the Best Naan Bread I've ever had, veggie rice, 2 veggie and lentil curries. We could get refills but it was enough and extremely delicious! Thumbs up! View all feedback.

Having been an avid Om Vegetarian customer at the Elizabeth st and Collins Street stores for many years, I was pleased to see that they opened a store which was closer to my work location. I have given it three attendances to confirm what I had thought on the first visit. It would have to be the worst restaurant of the chain. The food at Flames of India is superb and delicious. I particularly enjoy the spicy samosa chaat and papdi chaat, prepared in authentic Indian style. The service is also very good.
Reasonably priced and delicious food served by friendly staff, with the added bonus of late night hours (open until 2 am!). I will definitely be returning to satisfy my cravings for Indian cuisine.
The food arrived very hot, most likely microwaved. The naan was too hot to touch for the first few minutes. The Dahl Makhani and lentils were quite good - not too spicy, perfectly cooked, and delicious. I would definitely eat them three times a week. They could use a bit more salt, but it's still fine. The mixed vegetables reminded me of a Minestrone soup without pasta. The taste was alright, but it was very watery. The odd pickles were refillable, but I didn't see them on the Thali. The rice was cooked perfectly with no issues. I'm giving it a 4-star rating because it was microwaved.
Nice place for a proper Indian food.Average rates as of other Indian restaurants. The rotis/chapatis/breads are very soft and nicely cooked. The Dal tadka/fry is one of the best!
Great food. Really annoying that you can 't just order a curry on its own. Just give the to option turn it into a 'meal '. Have the menu on delivery apps to be the same as your actual menu!
